TOTOWA, NJ, June 2, 2014, Worldwide Who's Who/ -- Annemarie Appleton, Vice President of Manufacturing for Knickerbocker Machine Shop, Inc., has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in manufacturing and quality assurance.

Ms. Appleton is a manufacturing professional with three decades of experience; she has spent the past 25 years focusing on industry standards and specifications. Throughout her career, she has accrued both project and program management experience and attained a number of industry-related certifications. She brings her experience and credentials to her position as the Vice President of Manufacturing for Knickerbocker Machine Shop, Inc., and Alloy Stainless Products Company Inc., a role that she has filled for the past 20 years. Her position entails overseeing production, engineering and quality for the company, a manufacturer of stainless steel and high-alloy piping components and other products.

An honored VIP member of Worldwide Who's Who, Ms. Appleton was recently recognized by the organization as a Professional of the Year in Manufacturing and Quality Assurance. Her success can be attributed to her ambition, hard work, determination and family values. Ms. Appleton is an ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer and holds a Certification in Quality Management from the American Society for Quality. She also participates in standards development in ASME BPV and PTCS codes and standards, ASTM Specifications, and MSS Standard Practices, and has served as a chair or officer of various subcommittees and subgroups.

Ms. Appleton has also recently started a private consulting firm, Appleton Quality Concepts, that will focus on assisting clients with developing Quality System Programs for materials in the Nuclear Power Industry, client projects on industry standardization, and sourcing of specialty stainless and high alloy products.
